As a pet, a Tadpole Snail can be an interesting addition to a community tank. Snails can be a good match for species tanks as well, like shrimp or snail tanks. A snail can do a good job keeping a tank clean by eating uneaten food, dead or decaying plant matter, debris, detritus, and soft algae buildup on hard surfaces.
These will survive in a tropical tank or protected outdoor UK Pond (near freezing temps will affect them)
As long as conditions are right, they should all thrive without much effort and combined will make a great clean up crew, eating algae and uneaten fish-food. Do not use these as an excuse not to maintain or overfeed your fish. They are additional bio-load so your tank still requires regular maintenance and water changes.
You will get 5 young snails. The images are of adults for comparison, which your snails should grow to.
