These cultures contain both Grindal worms and Microworms. These are very easy to keep and breed, and make an excellent food for small to medium fish as they have a high nutritional value. A typical harvest will contain larger and smaller worms suitable for even tiny fry.
Typically you will think of Microworms being cultured in a oats based 'soup' but they thrive equally as well in a humid coco-coir based substrate and can grow alongside Grindal worms to provide a dual source of live food.
Both type of worm are great for conditioning tropical fish before spawning or breeding , and for young fast-growing fish.
You will get a starter culture with a variety of sizes and ages of worms. If looked after you can have a everlasting supply of live food for your fish, with minimal hassle.
